Kitchen Apartment Fire
This is an apartment kitchen fire. Typically, it is cost effective to clean the home from soot and smoke damage, though sometimes it is too severe to clean. Soot is a thick, powdery substance that can be hard to clean, so when caked onto the surfaces of walls and floors, cleaning may not be possible. This loss features a fire that covered the kitchen in soot. In the event demo needs to take place, we only remove what we cannot clean. The before photo shows the walls, ceiling, and floors covered in soot. The after photo features the walls, flooring, and ceiling removed, but only the affected areas. When we completed the demo, we left the kitchen in a state ready for the repairs.
